Matthew Lender, CPA, J.D., LL.M., MBA
Matt earned his BA from McDaniel College with a double major in Economics and Business Administration. He went on to earn both an MBA and JD from Quinnipiac University School of Business and Quinnipiac University School of Law, respectively. Matt also earned a Master of Law (LL.M.) in Taxation from the University of Alabama School of Law. He is a licensed CPA in both Connecticut and Florida, and a licensed attorney in Connecticut.
After the passing of his father (who was a veterinarian), Matt left his position in taxation to pursue operating his father’s veterinary hospital. After building that network to 15 locations he co-founded United Veterinary Care, which now has 114 veterinary hospitals in 23 states. Matt then shifted his focus back to the accounting profession in mid 2024 after multiple recapitalizations. He resides in South Florida with his wife, four children and dog, Lou.
